State Troopers out of Williamson respoinded to a disturbance on King Street in Williamson on Saturday (12/2) at 7:32 p.m. It is alleged that Deshawn Faniel, age 31, of 6910 Ridge Road, Apt. 1 in Sodus, who is well known to area police, hit another man in the head with the butt of a shotgun and then broke a window on a vehicle.

On December 5, 2023, officers from SP Lyons responded to a call on Water Street in Lyons. They met 19-year-old Jacob W. Bartosch, who was homeless. Local Resident among Victims in Fatal Two-Car Collision on State Route 104
State Police are investigating a fatal accident involving two cars on State Route 104 in Sodus, NY, on December 5, 2023. The vehicles involved were a 2003 Chevy Silverado and a 2011 Chevy HHR. Cory T. Mayo, 28, was driving the Silverado with passenger Clifford R. Mayo, 51. They collided with the HHR after failing to yield at an intersection.
