Man dies in motorcycle accident in Oswego County, deputies say
Hannibal, N.Y. — A 73-year-old man died in a motorcycle accident in Oswego County Monday, deputies said. Thomas Leonard, of Hannibal was driving his 2019 Can-Am Spyder north at 12:37 p.m. on County Route 7, near Harris Hill Road in Hannibal, said Lt. Andy Bucher, a spokesperson for the Oswego County Sheriff’s Department.

Canal Days returns to Fairport on Friday
FAIRPORT, N.Y. – The festival sets sail Friday, June 2 at 4:30 p.m. and continues through the weekend. There will be live music, a chicken barbecue, as well as a variety of food vendors. Local vendors will sell handmade candles, soaps, paintings, jewelry, photography and pottery.

Plans have been temporarily tabled for Wayne County’s first traffic “roundabout”
Following several major accidents and resident complaints over safety at the intersection of the Gananda Parkway and West Walworth Road in Walworth, a resolution from the Wayne County Board of Supervisors determined that an engineering study should be ordered. The survey concluded that a roundabout was the most feasible and safest alternative to traffic safety.
