Girl missing from Penfield group home
Penfield, N.Y. — Penfield, N.Y. — A 17-year-old from Penfield has been missing since she left her group home at Smith Road and Empire Boulevard. Authorities say Abigail West left the home between 3:30 and 4 a.m. Monday. West is 5-foot-1 and has brown hair and blue eyes.

Webster man injured in boat explosion at Wayne County marina
A fire injured a 65-year-old Webster man at a marina along Sodus Bay in Wayne County Thursday morning. The incident, initially reported as an explosion, occurred at Oak Park Marina on Catchpole Shore Road in Huron around 9:15 a.m., according to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office. The Webster man, whose name was not released, was cleaning the cabin of his boat when it burst into flames. He was able to exit the boat, but suffered severe injuries, according to the sheriff's office.
Wayne County man fined $15 million for illegal cannabis business
In a first of its kind ruling, the Wayne County Supreme Court has ruled a Lyons man must pay $15.2 million in fines for running illicit cannabis businesses. Supreme Court Judge Richard Healy issued the fines against David Tulley on Thursday. In total, $7 million in fines were handed down as “disgorgement,” or the repayment of the estimated illegal profits that Tulley made from his businesses. An additional $8.2 million in fines were given for ignoring repeated warnings from the state Office of Cannabis Management, or OCM, to cease operating.
