There are around 100 or less provisional ballots that the Provisional Counting Board will review Monday which could impact the closest races. ALCOA Five seats were up for grabs in Alcoa on Tuesday: three on the Board of Commissioners and two on the Board of Education. Incumbents Tanya Martin and Josh Blair retained their seats with 1,441 and 1,325 votes each, but challenger Dyran Bledsoe unseated former commissioner Steve Biggar on commission, 1,483-1,125. Formerly the Blount County District 2-B Commissioner, Bledsoe withdrew from the county commission race in February to transfer his candidacy to one of the three open Alcoa Commission seats. The Daily Times reached out to Martin and Bledsoe but didn’t receive a response before press time Wednesday. Former Alcoa Fire Chief Roger Robinson garnered 934 votes, but it wasn’t enough to push him into the top
