19-year-old dies in crash that closed I-20 Freeway
ARLINGTON, Texas — A fatal accident in Arlington on Wednesday closed down a portion of Interstate 20 for several hours. Arlington police responded around 2:39 a.m. to the westbound lanes of 2600 E Interstate 20 Freeway after receiving an iPhone crash alert. Officers found a 19-year-old driving a Nissan Altima who was pronounced dead at the scene, police said in a release. The victim was later identified as Elijah Campbell.
