Texas Bank Robbery Suspect Apprehended After Fleeing to Getaway Car
A video released by Weatherford Police Department shows the arrest of a bank robbery suspect on Thursday. The individual robbed a bank on Santa Fe Drive and fled to a prearranged getaway car 4 miles away. Officers recovered over $23,000 in stolen cash, and luckily, no injuries were reported during the incident.
House Fire in MW Total Loss
Fortunately a family in the 3100 block of NE 11th St was not home when their house caught fire on June 7th. According to Mineral Wells Fire Chief Ryan Dunn, the structure fire was a total loss but First Responders were able to save some very important belongings from the blaze.
Bank Robber Captured in Texas Following Daring Pursuit
Weatherford, Texas police successfully captured an armed bank robber attempting to flee. The suspect, who matched the description provided by bank employees, was found in a nearby creek bed and proceeded to run towards Heritage Park before being apprehended. Over $23,000 in stolen money was recovered, and no injuries were reported.
