Report: Upper Township School Meets, Restores Programs, Needs More Money
The Upper Township Board of Education met last night and decided to increase school taxes by eight percent this year in order to maintain programs. The Press of Atlantic City reports today that some lost state aid is being returned and this increase would keep sports programs, staff, and courtesy bussing. A final vote on this plan will be held June 24th.
