Camden Man Arrested and Charged in September Murder
CAMDEN – Police on Tuesday arrested a 32-year-old Camden man and charged him with first-degree murder and weapons offenses for the fatal shooting on September 9 of Alberto DeJesus, 31, of Camden. Jaffar Muhammad was in custody on weapons charges at the Camden County Correctional Facility when he was charged with the murder of DeJesus, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office. On September 9 at 11:45 p.m. police responding to an auto crash at Norris Street and Landsdowne Avenue discovered DeJesus in the car, suffering from gunshot wounds.
