Frankfort (Ill.) Lincoln-Way East On300 2026 quarterback Jonas Williams says he plans to visit “Oklahoma, Oregon, LSU and Ohio State” this summer.

“Those are the frontrunners,” Williams added. “However Louisville is also up there.”

The Sooners are at the top or near the front of the list for several rising junior quarterbacks including Williams. He is very comfortable around the folks in Norman.

“The family feeling I get, and the relationship I have with the coaches,” Williams said. The Sooners had the No. 3 offensive in college football year ago.

The 6-foot-3, 205-pound Williams is looking forward to visiting Oregon for the first time. The Ducks offense ranked No. 2 nationally last season.

“Oregon has been one of my dream schools since I was a kid,” Williams said.

Williams is looking forward to getting back down to Baton Rouge. LSU is coming off a season where they had the top offense in America.

“LSU is LSU,” Williams said. “I mean they produce great quarterbacks and I love the staff. I could see myself developing there.”

Williams could also see himself developing at Ohio State where head coach Ryan Day and the Buckeyes staff have a track record at the position, most recently CJ Stroud.

“Ohio State develops quarterbacks,” Williams said. “And I like the offense Coach (Chip) Kelly runs. I think i would fit in well.”
