BIBB COUNTY, Ga. (WGXA) - A massive fire in downtown Macon Thursday morning kept fire crews busy for hours. The fire was at a vacant warehouse at the intersection of 5th and Pine Streets. According to Macon-Bibb County Fire Chief Shane Edwards, the first calls for the fire came in just after 7:30 a.m. Thursday.

MACON, Ga. (WGXA) -- One Macon property owner said he has felt taken advantage by Macon-Bibb County after the home he purchased to fix up was torn down. Eric Arnold said after he purchased his east Macon property at 1551 Sunnydale Drive, he began the tedious task of cleaning it up. But he said he went through the proper procedures when he got to the point of repairing the roof. However, two days after he got his permit - on November 15 - he says he got a call from neighbors that Macon-Bibb was actively tearing the house down, with the building materials he was using to repair the home still inside.
