South Toledo crash sends person to hospital with life-threatening injuries
TOLEDO, Ohio — A person had to be extricated from a car and was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash in south Toledo on Saturday evening. Toledo police say a car was in the intersection at South Byrne Road and Hill Avenue around 5: 30 p.m. waiting to make a left hand.
One dead, one injured in two-vehicle crash Saturday morning in central Toledo
TOLEDO, Ohio — One person is dead and another injured after a two-vehicle crash Saturday morning in central Toledo. The crash happened shortly before 8 a.m. on Central Avenue near Detroit Avenue. Theresa Sutton, 67, of Toledo, was driving westbound on Central Ave. and attempted to make a left turn onto Detroit Ave.. According to Toledo police, Sutton’s vehicle then collided with a vehicle heading eastbound on Central Ave.
Downtown Adrian buildings being demolished for Maiden Lane extension project
ADRIAN — Demolition of three blighted buildings in downtown Adrian is expected to cause the closure of part of a street Monday, May 13. South Main Street between Maumee and Church streets will be closed as demolition of the buildings at 116, 118 and 120 S. Main St. continues. The closure begins at 7 a.m. Monday and will continue for the remainder of the day or until the demolition is completed, a news release from the city of Adrian said.
