Three hospitalized after an ATV crash in rural Lancaster County
LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office says five people were involved in a ATV crash to the southeast of Lincoln on Memorial Day. LSO, as well as volunteers from Bennet and Southeast Rural Fire & Rescue, were called to a field just east of 120th and Pioneers at 9:40 p.m.
Shooting star spotted by doorbell camera in Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A shooting star in the northwest region of Lincoln’s sky was spotted by dozens over the weekend. On Sunday around 10:04 p.m., video of the falling meteor was captured from a doorbell camera by a Lincoln resident. The fireball briefly streaks across the sky before vanishing from sight.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Peaceful and pleasant weather will continue on your Tuesday... It’s been a great start to the final week of May...with plenty of sunshine...mainly dry conditions...and comfortably mild temperatures. It has been a bit breezy...but overall...the weather was great for Memorial Day Monday, and Tuesday will make it two in a row for the good guys. It appears that most of 10-11 Country will also squeeze out one more pleasant day on Wednesday before thunderstorm “chances” return for our Thursday and Friday. To a lesser extent, Saturday and Sunday will also see periodic thunderstorm chances...but the possibility of precipitation won’t be quite as high as what we’ll see during the Thursday-Friday timeframe. Severe weather threats this week are a bit “up-in-the-air” right now...although there is a “marginal” risk of severe ‘storms in the west on Wednesday. Please stay up-to-date with the forecasts later this week as thunderstorm chances increase...and any severe weather threats come into better focus.
