Fight at Downtown Lincoln Gentlemen’s Club Leads to Arrests
LINCOLN–(KFOR May 1)–Two women are in jail after a brawl broke out Tuesday afternoon inside the Foxy Gentlemen’s Club near 18th and “O” Street. Lincoln Police Public Information Manager Erika Thomas says there were a number of women inside fighting with each other, throwing chairs. Thomas says they also received reports of yelling, screaming and some spitting during the melee. Two women, Valencia Lewis and Keyonna Watford, were both arrested and put in the Lancaster County Jail.
Man arrested in north Lincoln crash that killed pedestrian
LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Lincoln Police said an investigation into a crash that killed a pedestrian on Feb. 9 revealed there were two vehicles that hit the 64-year-old man. Police said one of those drivers left the scene of the crash near 27th and Old Dairy Road and on Tuesday, 41-year-old Michael Hockman of Waverly turned himself in at the Lancaster County Jail. Police arrested him for failure to stop and render aid.

Illinois woman sentenced to 3.5 years for transporting drugs on I-80 in Seward County
LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A woman was sentenced Monday after she and three other women were caught transporting drugs on I-80 in Seward County in 2022. A judge sentenced Jennilee Janae Velez, 22, of Addison, Illinois, to 3.5 years in prison for conspiracy to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine and a quantity of oxycodone. Once she is released from prison, she will begin a two-year term of supervised released.

South Dakota man convicted in Fonner Park murder case
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - Nearly a year and two months after a Lincoln man was killed at Fonner Park in Grand Island, a South Dakota man is convicted of murder. On Wednesday, 21-year-old Logan Hunts Horse of Wounded Knee, SD, pled guilty to second degree murder and no contest to use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony. He will be sentenced July 30. Four related charges were dropped in a plea bargain, including another charge of use of a deadly weapon, use of a firearm to commit a felony, robbery and felony conspiracy.
