Nebraska Track and Field Breaks Multiple School Records
(Lincoln, NE) – Nebraska’s track and field team was able to break multiple school records during the Big Ten Championships in yesterday’s (Friday) meet. Dash Sirmon was able to break the javelin school record with a throw of 265’3″ on his final attempt. That throw helped him earn the silver medal and earned third in the NCAA. Another school record that was broken came in the 200-meter dash. In his first time to ever race in the 200-meter dash this season, Garrett Kaalund broke the school record at 20.50, earning the second seed.
