Inmate escapes from Eunice hospital
EUNICE, La. (KADN) — Eunice police are searching for an inmate who escaped while being treated at a hospital. Officials said Andrew Morrison, 46, was at the Acadian Medical Center when he got away from a jailer. They added officers are searching in the North St. Mary Road area.

No. 13 Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns softball advanced to the semifinals of the Lafayette Regional after defeating the Princeton Tigers 8-0 on a five-inning, run rule Friday.
