LAFAYETTE, La. — The Lafayette City Council is one step closer to taking money away from downtown drainage to help settle a drainage lawsuit. In a special meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 5, the council introduced an ordinance to move more than $3 million to the Lake Farm Road Detention Project.
