SULPHUR, La. (KPLC/Gray News) - A 2-year-old Louisiana boy and his mother were welcomed home from the hospital a month after they were burned in a trash fire accident. Hailey Brock, 21, and her 2-year-old son, Kayson, have been in a burn unit at a Lafayette hospital since Feb. 22 when an aerosol can thrown into a burn pit exploded. The toddler’s jacket caught fire, and his mother suffered serious burns from fighting to save his life, KPLC reports.
