Metairie man leads LSU student body, and other college news
LOUISIANA STATE UNIVERSITY: Metairie resident V. Joseph Liberto, a sophomore at LSU, was recently elected student body president. He attended St. Catherine of Siena, Christian Brothers School and Jesuit High School, where he served as student body president in 2022. He is the son of Evelyn and Vincent Liberto of Metairie.
Nell Nolan: AKA Cotillion, Lutheran High School gala
The alliterative cotillion honored young women at the Hyatt Regency Hotel under the auspices of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Omicron Lambda Omega Chapter. Appearing as queen was Miss Hope Christine Singleton, daughter of retired US Navy CDR Damon Ivan Singleton and Tammuella Chrisentery-Singleton, MD. She succeeds the 2023 majesty, Yanci Willene Robertson.
