The Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office announced this evening that they are investigating 2 separate shooting incidents that occurred on Thursday night in the parish. Sheriff Craig Webre said that the first incident occurred on Market Street in Raceland and there were no reported injuries in the incident. Jefferson Parish deputies led on high speed chase, suspect arrested
MARRERO, La. — A suspect is in custody after allegedly leading Jefferson Parish deputies on a high-speed chase through Marrero. JPSO says deputies tried to stop the suspect for an ongoing investigation. The suspect did not stop and ended up leading deputies on a chase in a stolen car. The suspect then crashed the stolen car on Westbank Expressway and Joyce Street. The suspect abandoned the crashed car and fled on foot, according to JPSO.
