Jefferson Parish deputies led on high speed chase, suspect arrested
MARRERO, La. — A suspect is in custody after allegedly leading Jefferson Parish deputies on a high-speed chase through Marrero. JPSO says deputies tried to stop the suspect for an ongoing investigation. The suspect did not stop and ended up leading deputies on a chase in a stolen car. The suspect then crashed the stolen car on Westbank Expressway and Joyce Street. The suspect abandoned the crashed car and fled on foot, according to JPSO.
