The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office is asking the public's help locating a person caught on camera allegedly spray painting graffiti on a Mandeville synagogue April 16. The Sheriff’s Office said in a post on Facebook Tuesday that it is investigating the vandalism incident at the Northshore Jewish Congregation. The person who was caught on camera is believed to have left the scene in a dark-colored Honda Civic. The spray painting took place around 1:30 a.m.

The agency said the suspect was caught on surveillance cameras spray-painting graffiti on the outside of the Northshore Jewish Congregation’s temple building at 1403 North Causeway Blvd. The antisemitic vandalism occurred April 16 at approximately 1:30 a.m., authorities said.
