Cathedral Prep-Oil City playoff game moved over security concerns
The District 10 football playoff game between Cathedral Prep and Oil City has been moved from Veterans Stadium to Fairview High School on Friday, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. The two are set to meet in the Class 4A semifinals. On Friday morning, the Iroquois School District administration sent out a letter stating that Iroquois High School had “implemented heightened security measures” after online threats were made toward students by a juvenile who is not enrolled in the district. Pitt updates University-wide branding guidelines
Pitt has updated its 80-page brand guide to better reflect recent branding changes made throughout the University. The updates include expanding how academic departments can use the Pitt Spirit Mark, among other changes. The mark is now only meant for merchandising purposes and not official communications, as a part of recent efforts to strengthen the Pitt brand.
