The U.S. Department of Labor has accused the owners of five McDonald’s store locations in western Pennsylvania of violating child labor laws, according to news reports. The department investigated Endor Inc., which is owned by and operated by Paul and Meghan Sweeney and is stationed in Cranberry Township, and found that the company violated federal child labor regulations by hiring 34 children aged 14-15 years old to work later and longer than the laws allow.
