Man Arrested in Connection With Beating of Elderly Man in Rimersburg Area Home Invasion
MADISON TWP., Pa. (EYT) — State Police have arrested a local man who allegedly seriously injured an elderly man in a home invasion in the Rimersburg area. State Police in Clarion reported that troopers were dispatched to a residence in Madison Township, Clarion County, after receiving a report of an ongoing assault at approximately 8:25 a.m. on Tuesday, May 21.
Hearings Continued for Local Women Accused of Stealing Over $450 Worth of Items From Walmart
MONROE TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A hearing was continued for a pair of local women facing retail theft charges stemming from an incident that occurred in February. According to court records, a preliminary hearing for 59-year-old Dianne L. Priester and 58-year-old Suzanne C. Andre, both of Sligo, that was scheduled for Tuesday, May 28, has been continued and will resume at 9:30 a.m. on July 2, with District Judge Jeffrey C. Miller presiding.
