PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. — A man was shot and killed early Monday morning, leading to a police investigation in Prince George's County. Around 2:10 a.m., officers with the Prince George's County Police Department responded to Alpine Street, off of Silver Hill Road, in Districts Heights after receiving a call about a shooting in the area. Upon arrival, they found a man outside suffering from a gunshot wound.

D.C. Armed Robbers Caught On Surveillance Camera
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is asking for assistance finding suspects and a vehicle involved in an armed robbery that took place in Northeast, D.C. on Thursday afternoon. Just after 3 pm, the victim was approached by two suspects at the 3900 Block of Benning Road. At the location, one of the suspects displayed a gun and the other took the victim’s property. The suspects then left the scene in a vehicle. A nearby surveillance camera captured the suspects and their vehicle. Maryland residents to get another $500 cash payments monthly - are you eligible?
Some American residents will soon be getting some much needed financial assistance. Krystal Oriadha and other Prince George’s County Council members have introduced a new legislation. Under this legislation, a new guaranteed income pilot program will be formed and residents could get $500 in monthly payments. The Greater Washington Community Foundation, a non profit organization, will help to fund the program. It has already secured $2 million in funding. (source)
