Major College Football Program Trending For Top 10 RB in 2025 Class

Steve Wiltfong of On3 Sports made a prediction for which team will land elite 2025 running back Byron Louis.

According to Wiltfong, Florida State is trending for the four-star running back out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Louis is the No. 176 overall prospect and No. 10 running back in the class of 2025, according to the On3 industry rankings. He is the No. 1 running back and No. 24 player in Florida.

The Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) has the Seminoles as the frontrunner, but there are still multiple other notable programs recruiting Louis. Miami, Ohio State, Georgia, Wisconsin, and UCF are also heavily involved in this recruitment.

Florida State's 2025 recruiting class ranks No. 10 nationally and No. 2 in the ACC. The class is headlined by five-star offensive lineman Soloman Thomas. Four-star EDGE Javion Hilson, four-star linebacker Ethan Pritchard, and three-star quarterback Tramell Jones are also committed to the Seminoles.

Over the years, the program has produced several NFL-ready running backs, including Warrick Dunn, Dalvin Cook, Devonta Freeman, and Jermaine Thomas.
