Truck hauling frozen chicken catches fire on NB I-43 in Darien
DARIEN, Wis. - A semi hauling frozen chicken caught fire on northbound I-43 near Highway 14 in Darien early Wednesday, May 15. Emergency crews were dispatched to the interstate shortly before 3 a.m. Wednesday. Darien Fire/EMS arrived on the scene and requested help from Sharon Fire and Rescue for water supply.

Murals in Motion public art project under way in downtown Lake Geneva
LAKE GENEVA — Artists began work Wednesday on the inaugural Murals in Motion outdoor art event in downtown Lake Geneva. The murals will be painted May 15-19, 2024 as part of an artist in residence type of event. Spectators are encouraged t come downtown and watch the process and enjoy other streetside entertainment.
Air quality to be unhealthy Saturday in Milwaukee, Waukesha, Ozaukee, other southeast Wisconsin counties
The air quality in much of southeast Wisconsin is expected to reach the level of "unhealthy for sensitive groups" Saturday. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has issued an air quality advisory for ozone from noon to 11 p.m. in the following counties: Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Sheboygan, Walworth, Washington and Waukesha.
