Geneva National to host WIAA boys golf tournament

The 2027 WIAA boys golf state championships will be played at the Lee Trevino Golf Course at Geneva National in Lake Geneva this season. The tournament is scheduled for June 7-8, 2027, and will move from University Ridge in Madison. That course is unavailable to the WIAA this season because it will host the American Family Insurance Championships each June from this year through 2030. The Trevino course was designed by World Golf Hall of Famer Lee Trevino in 1991, and underwent a substantial renovation in 2024. Geneva National has also hosted the Wisconsin State Senior Open, Wisconsin PGA regional tournaments, the Wisconsin State Open, and several LPGA Championships.
