Reminder for McHenry County Residents: Restrictions on Landscape Waste Burning and Alternatives
The McHenry County Department of Health (MCDH) in Illinois has reminded residents about the Public Health Ordinance restrictions on burning landscape waste. These restrictions apply all year and allow burning only on Saturdays and Sundays in April, May, October, and November from dawn to dusk. Residents cannot transport waste to another property for burning. Only waste produced on the property can be burned.
