Hailey Van Lith's College GPA is Trending as She Weighs Transfer Options

Some NCAA transfers are limited by their academic performance in the search for a new school.

That is not the case for women's basketball star Hailey Van Lith.

Van Lith began her college career with three seasons at the University of Louisville. There, she graduated early with a degree in finance — earning Summa Cum Laude honors.

By the university's standards, that means Van Lith graduated with a GPA of 3.9 or better on the 4.0 scale.

"This moment is to glorify God in all of His goodness. He is the one true love," Van Lith wrote as the caption to an Instagram post at the time of her Louisville graduation.

Following her graduation from Louisville, Van Lith entered the portal as a graduate transfer. She suited up for Kim Mulkey and the LSU Tigers this past season, but once again entered the transfer portal following the team's NCAA Tournament exit.

Now, Van Lith is on the hunt for her third collegiate program. Last week, reports indicated that she'd committed to play for the TCU Horned Frogs — but she later came forward to deny those reports.

"I did take a visit to TCU and am very interested in them, but I took visits to other schools and was very interested in them, too," Van Lith said. "I haven't made an official commitment, but I'm very close. The ink has not touched the paper for any school."

Wherever Van Lith ends up, it will be for her final season of collegiate eligibility.
