Conference realignment continues to be a popular target surrounding big college athletics going into Summer 2024 as the Big Ten and SEC are set to debut their new conferences for the first time beginning with football season. DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) – Durham city leaders are searching for ways to keep residents safe after a recent spree of shootings in and around public housing communities. At the McDougald Terrace community, two people were shot in two separate incidents over the last few days. It’s not the only Durham Housing Authority property that’s seen more than it’s fair share of violence so far this year.
