PHOTOS: Durham police seek ATV driver who fled officers in 2nd recent case
DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) – Durham police said Monday they are searching for an ATV rider who drove away from officers during an attempted traffic stop last week. The incident is the second one recently after police said Sunday that a dirt bike rider and an ATV driver also fled during a traffic stop.

Person hit by car on E. Franklin Street in Chapel Hill
A person was hit by a car Tuesday on E. Franklin Street in Chapel Hill. At 9:16 p.m., the Chapel Hill Police Department responded to a report of someone being hit by a car on E. Franklin Street at Eastgate Crossing. That person was transported to UNC Hospitals with life-threatening injuries.
