Durham man targeted Hispanic victims in 6 armed robberies over 5 days, police say
DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — A Durham man was arrested in connection with six armed robberies this past week in which Hispanic victims were targeted, police said. Denshawn Stareek Thompson, 31, is charged with four counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon, four counts of second-degree kidnapping, four counts of possession of a firearm by a felon, assault on a female, assault with a deadly weapon, and larceny from a person. More charges are possible, according to the Durham Police Department.
