City clears downtown corner
HIGH POINT — A recent demolition by the city has yielded more potential parking in its downtown catalyst district. Crews have cleared the former Davis & Goldberg Orthodontics office building at Gatewood Avenue and N. Elm Street, and have graded the site to accommodate parking, which is the only plan for the city-owned property at this time, Deputy Manager Greg Ferguson said.
