Lou Grasso Resigns as Union H.S. Football Coach
UNION, NJ -- Lou Grasso announced his resignation as the head football coach at Union High School this week. Grasso has accepted the position of athletic director at Colonia High School in Middlesex County, where he will succeed longtime Colonia A.D. The coach at Union for the last 11 seasons, Grasso posted a record of 67-49 at Union, winning the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 4 championship in 2019. Very little mercy was shown by the third-seeded Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School boys lacrosse Raiders when they hosted the seventh-seeded Cranford Cougars in the quarterfinal round of the Union County Tournament at Scotch Plains on May 7.
