Syracuse, N.Y. -- A man accused of raping a woman in a Clay hotel room was an employee at Onondaga County’s Hillbrook Juvenile Detention Center. The man — Pierre C. Reese, 40, — is accused of going to Comfort Inn and Suites in Clay and raping a woman in her hotel room on March 10.

Syracuse, N.Y. — The Tunnel to Towers Foundation is paying off the mortgage for the family of slain Onondaga County Sheriff’s Deputy Lt. Michael Hoosock. Hoosock, 37, of Clay, was killed along with Syracuse Police Officer Michael Jensen, 29, while responding to a home in Salina Sunday night. The shooter, Christopher Murphy, 33, was also shot and killed.
