Free patriotic, holiday barbershop concert in Rome on Dec. 17
ROME — The Rome Area Veterans Support Group will host a free barbershop concert at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Rome on Sunday, Dec. 17. The concert will be performed by the Mohawk Valley Chapter New Horizons Barbershop Chorus to honor local area veterans. The concert is free and open to the public, and will take place from 2 to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday. Dec. 17 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church at 1807 Bedford St. The concert will feature 24 songs covering patriotic and Christmas holiday themes, including Broadway show tunes. Most are performed in the traditional a capella barbershop style.
