Syracuse, N.Y. — The gunshot that killed a Syracuse man Tuesday night was self-inflicted, police said. When police arrived around 7:14 p.m. to the 600 block of Gifford Street they found a man with a gunshot wound to the neck, according to Kieran Coffey, a spokesperson for the Syracuse police.

Syracuse, N.Y. -- A mother and her son accused of a months-long bail bond fraud scheme have been indicted by a grand jury. Thirty-six people have been identified as victims of the scheme, a prosecutor said.
