NYSDOT accepting public comment on road work project in Hornell Tuesday
HORNELL, N.Y. (WENY) -- On Tuesday, The New York State Department of Transportation is asking for local input for a road project on Route 36 in Hornell. According to the project plan, 3 miles of the road through Downtown Hornell will be reconstructed from Cass Street to Interstate 86 in Hornellsville. NYSDOT plans to also improve the intersection of NY-36 and County Route 66, to reduce congestion and increase safety. Crews will also install new pedestrian and bicycle paths along NY-36 from Main St. to County Route 70A.
