The crash occurred about 4:15 p.m. Monday in the area of Bronson Hill Road and Stone Hill Road in the town of Livonia, according to the Livingston County Sheriff's Office.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a crash on Tuesday night that left at least one person dead. The crash happened on Bronson Hill Road in Livonia, between Stone Hill Road and Big Tree Road. Both roads have since reopened. Alleged assault victim dies, Steuben County man faces murder charge
UPDATE: An attempted murder charge is now a murder charge in Steuben County. State Police say the 54-year-old victim of the assault that took place in the town of Erwin on Tuesday has died from her injuries. Authorities have identified her as Heather Moran, the sister of the alleged offender. They say she was struck in the head multiple times with a cast-iron frying pan. 59-year-old John Marvin II, of Painted Post, is now charged with second-degree murder. Marvin is being held in Steuben County Jail.
Geneva man accused of attacking woman, charged with assault
ONTARIO COUNTY, N.Y. — A Geneva man is in jail Wednesday night, accused of attacking a woman and leaving her with a disfigured earlobe. According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, Cecil Brown, 65, is charged with assault and aggravated criminal contempt. It happened around 1 a.m. Tuesday.

The Arkport Village Board is reminding residents to follow traffic laws in the village and elsewhere. The Village Clerk has had complaints about cars passing stopped school buses and speeding in the village, especially on West Avenue. Due to the speeding complaints, the village placed speed devices on West Ave to monitor the speed of drivers going through. DOfficials say that some divers have been routinely speeding on the street, with a top speed of 57 miles per hour being recorded in the 30 miles per hour zone.
