Lawrenceville's Memorial Day parade carries decades of history
LAWRENCEVILLE, Pa. (KDKA) -- The Memorial Day celebration in Lawrenceville is one of the biggest in the area, with some saying it dates back 150 years.Here is a picture from the Allegheny Cemetery of Civil War veterans marching in the parade in 1918.And here is one from a few decades later showing veterans in 1937.This year the parade had 65 entries. After the 10-block-long parade concluded, there were food trucks, live music, a classic car show and more.

Lycoming County motorcycle crash was deadly, state police say
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — A New York man crashed his motorcycle and died of his injuries Friday in Lycoming County. State police at Montoursville said 74-year-old David M. Nangle, of Painted Post, New York, struck a guard rail just before 11 a.m. on Route 15 in Clinton Township. The crash happened as Nangle attempted negotiating a 2015 Victory Cross Country Tour around a downhill right curve. in the highway.

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT — A motorcyclist from New York was killed Friday when his vehicle left Route 15 in Lycoming County and struck the guiderail. David M. Nangle, 74, of Painted Post, was pronounced dead at the scene of the 10:50 a.m. accident on southbound Route 15 at the top of Bald Eagle Mountain in Clinton Twp., south of Williamsport.
