2023 five-star recruit Cormani McClain's market is heating up.

On3's Pete Nakos reported on Monday that three programs, USF, UCF and Memphis, are in the mix for the former Colorado Buffaloes defensive back.

McClain made waves last week by entering the transfer portal. Following his decision, McClain's former head coach, Deion Sanders, said , "I pray to God that he goes to a program that challenges him, as well as hold him accountable and develop him as a young man."

On Sunday, McClain fired back at "Prime Time" on YouTube.

"I feel like I just don't want to play for clicks. I actually want to be involved with a great leading program that's going to develop players," McClain said.

In September 2023, Oregon head coach Dan Lanning went viral on social media when a video posted prior to his team's 42-6 win against Colorado went public. In it, he said, "They're fighting for clicks, we're fighting for wins."

Nakos notes that Memphis has considered making McClain a two-way star, deploying him as a wide receiver in offensive formations.

McClain is a native of Lakeland, Fl, and returning to his home state by enrolling at either USF or UCF could be enticing, too.
