The Philadelphia 76ers completed the impossible on Tuesday. They came back from a six-point deficit with 30 seconds left in Madison Square Garden to steal Game 5 from the New York Knicks and extend the first-round series.

It seemed like the game was wrapped up, just before Philly star Tyrese Maxey gave the Sixers life. Maxey knocked in a four-point play, throwing up a heaved three with a gifted foul from Micthell Robinson.

There were some questions regarding the play after the game, regarding if Maxey made a legal move. The last two-minute report on Wednesday revealed that Mxey traveled on the play and it should have been called for a violation.

According to the L2M report and New York Basketball on X, "Maxey gathers the ball on his left foot, takes two legal steps, and then moves his right foot again just before he is fouled on his shot."

The officials or league can't take this game back or scratch it off the series record, but there will surely be backlash from fans across the NBA.
