The Minnesota Timberwolves were in prime position to take down the defending champion Denver Nuggets and advance to the Western Conference Finals after leading the second-round series 2-0. After their strong start, the Timberwolves are starring at a 3-2 series deficit, dropping three straight games.

Anthony Edwards is known as one of the most confident players in the league. His skill matches his energy and he's always ready to put blood, sweat, and tears on the hardwood. Edwards recently spoke on his confidence in the series, despite the deficit.

Following a pivotal Game 5, Edwards sent a message to a Nuggets attendant, saying "I'll see you Game 7," via Bleacher Report.

With a player like Edwards, it's certainly possible for the Timberwolves to flip the switch, but there's massive momentum on the Nuggets side.

Denver will head to Minnesota to play Game 6, an elimination game for the Wolves. This may not be a true legacy game for Edwards since he's very young into his career, but elimination games are where stars like him shine the brightest.
