No. 1 RB In Ohio Marquise Davis Announces Commitment To SEC Program

Four-star running back Marquise Davis announced his commitment to Kentucky. The 5-foot-11, 200-pound running back is from Cleveland, Ohio.

He committed to the Wildcats over offers from Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, and Tennessee.

Davis is the No. 183 overall prospect and No. 11 running back in the class of 2025. He ranks as the No. 1 running back and No. 8 player in Ohio, according to the On3 industry rankings .

Following Davis' commitment, Kentucky's 2025 recruiting class ranks No. 27 nationally and No. 13 in the SEC. He is the second Top 350 prospect to commit to the Wildcats, joining four-star wide receiver Quintin Simmons.

Davis finished his junior season with 2,228 rushing yards and 35 rushing touchdowns. He also recorded 63 total tackles, five tackles for loss, one sack, three interceptions, and four pass breakups.

He was named the OHSAA Offensive Player of the Year and was nominated for the Gatorade Player of the Year. Davis finished second for the Ohio Mr. Football Award and also earned first-team All-State honors.
