The event, scheduled from 4-6 p.m., will feature Halloween displays along Corning’s Historic Walking Bridge, with participating organizations stationed in Centerway Square to hand out candy to the trick-or-treaters. “The Parks and Recreation Department is excited about this new event in collaboration with the Corning Area Business Association," said Alex Hamilton, Corning City Parks and Recreation Director. "I would also like to thank our community partners for assisting the department in offering additional trick-or-treating opportunities to the community youth that participate in Corning Area Business Association’s annual event.” Hamilton said the event will take place in conjunction with the CABA’s annual Market Street trick-or-treating event. The Market Street Trick-or-Treat event will be held from 4-6 p.m. at several local participating businesses in the Corning Gaffer District, officials said. The event is free to the public.
