100 Years Ago is brought to you by the Kilmer Mansion. 100 years ago today, a memorial statue of Daniel S. Dickinson, Broome County’s greatest statesman, has been designed by one of New York City’s most prominent sculptors. A scale model was made and now the full-size eight-foot model is being produced. It is hoped to have the completed statue by September for a dedication ceremony on Dickinson’s birthday.
