1 Dead, 2 Injured in Crash on I-99 Centre County
One person was killed and two people were seriously injured in a head-on crash late Friday night on Interstate 99 in western Centre County, according to state police at Rockview. Robert G. Cummings II, 63, of Altoona, was pronounced dead at the scene of the two-vehicle crash, which occurred at about 11:20 p.m. Friday at mile 61 in Worth Township, near the Port Matilda/Philipsburg exit of I-99 northbound. Local church hosts discussion on mental health awareness with Johns Hopkins professor
Dr. Daniel Hale, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University led a discussion at the Westmont Presbyterian Church on congregational mental health awareness. Dr. Hale spoke to Westmont, Trinity, and First Presbyterian Church members about understanding depression.
