ALTOONA, Pa. (WTAJ) – Several dozen booths with everything from handmade jewelry to paintings were on display at the Blair Creators Festival in Altoona on Saturday.

The homemade items even included tons sweets and other treats, among the ten food vendors at the Heritage Plaza. There were also live performances from eight local bands.

This is the third Creators Festival presented by Arts Altoona and Penn State Altoona Sheetz Fellows.

“I think it’s really special. It’s not every day that you get in a class or a project where you can make something actually as tangible as this, you know, being able to see all these people come out here and buy from our local vendors,” Luke Pletz, Director of Blair Creators Festival, said.

Pletz said they’re already working on making next year’s Creators Fest bigger and better.
