Borough in Blair County planning for a 7-hour power outage

BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — The borough of Tyrone will have a planned power outage to replace equipment in the region.

The planned outage by Penelec is scheduled for Monday, May 13, and will last for seven hours, according to Tyrone Mayor Bill Latchford . It will affect customers in the areas of Lincoln Avenue, West 17th Street, Columbia Avenue, West 18th Street and Adams Avenue.

The outage will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. If an unforeseen emergency or inclement weather occurs, the planned outage will be rescheduled for Tuesday, May 14 during the same time frame.
